GLAAD nominates trans-themed media for 2007 awards

2006 was another great year for trans representation in the media, and the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) has nominated a number of other great programs and articles for their annual GLAAD Media Awards.

Two talk show episodes in which Deep Stealth’s Calpernia Addams and Andrea James participated have been nominated for GLAAD Media Awards.

– The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch was nominated for their “Transgender People” broadcast.

– El Show de Cristina was nominated for their Spanish-language “Transamerica” episode.
