Deep StealthLOGO is the leading media outlet for LGBT-themed entertainment. The channel aired “Beautiful Daughters,” the documentary about the Deep Stealth produced all-transgender Vagina Monologues.

LOGO network has released the Beautiful Daughters documentary online in its entirety. The program follows the making of the first all-transgender performance of The Vagina Monlogues by Eve Ensler, produced by Deep Stealth Productions as part of Eve’s worldwide anti-violence movement VDay.

The third volume in our Coming Out series is now available. Deep Stealth sits down with world-renowned gender expert Dr. Randi Ettner for a candid discussion of coming out issues involving friends and loved ones. Dr. Ettner has written Gender Loving Care and Confessions of a Gender Defender, as well as numerous articles in professional publications.

This volume is designed to help family and friends understand what’s involved in gender identity and expression. It also discusses how to go about coming out as trans in ways that will be the most productive and least traumatic.

Deep Stealth’s Calpernia Addams and Andrea James were fortunate enough to sit down with female-to-male transsexual author and activist Jamison Green to get his thoughts on coming out issues for female-to-male transsexual men. One of Deep Stealth’s projects this year has been a focus on creating coming out resources for people in transition.




Deep Stealth is excited to announce completion of secondary shooting for our short film “Casting Pearls”. Enacting our core mission of improving opportunities and portrayals relevant to transsexual women in the media, our diverse team had talented representatives from all categories, and the film itself will showcase with humor and heart the struggles of a transsexual actress in Hollywood up against decades of discrimiation and wrong ideas.

National Public Radio’s Douglas Hopper interviewed Calpernia and Andrea for a report on transgender voice coaching. The piece is set to air Sunday on All Things Considered. It airs around 4-5pm in most cities: check your local listings. It will also be available online after it airs at www.npr.org.

The Insider Celeb Central: Hollywood’s Transsexual Trainers

Calpernia and Andrea were in studio for a segment on “The Big Idea” with Donny Deutsch on Thursday, February 23rd. Topics included “Transamerica” and Deep Stealth’s thoughts on trans issues, especially as they relate to Hollywood and the media.

The show also included Aiden Key, his identical twin sister Brenda Chevis, lawyer and author Dhillon Khosla and motorsports pro Terri O’Connell.

Andrea and Calpernia appear on-air during public radio station KPFK‘s annual membership pledge drive with IMRU Executive Producer Rita Gonzales and celebrity co-host George Takei, well known as Star Trek‘s beloved “Mr. Sulu” and an advocate for the GLBT community. They discussed “Soldier’s Girl”, “Beautiful Daughters” and their work with Felicity Huffman in “Transamerica”. Deep Stealth also provided autographed DVDs of “Soldier’s Girl” and encouraged listeners to call in their support for the long-running station, which has supported independent expression for almost 50 years in California.
