Deep Stealth Productions is pleased to announce that “Casting Pearls” has been selected for the 2007 Fresno Reel Pride Festival. It will be screening with the French feature Un Autre Femme.

The Starline is located one block north of the Tower Theatre. The box office at the Starline will open 20 minutes before each screening.

Calpernia Addams stars as a transsexual actress learning the ins and outs (mostly outs) of auditioning for female parts in Hollywood.
Un Autre Femme

French actress Nathalie Mann is captivating in this award-winning performance as a post-op transsexual woman trying to connect, albeit reluctantly at first, with the family she produced years ago as a miserable man.
Fresno Reel Pride, through the universal appeal of movies, works to produce a major cultural event for the entire Central Valley community designed to enhance community acceptance and understanding while adding to the diversity of a culturally rich city.

Calpernia Addams and Andrea James of Deep Stealth Productions were guests on today’s Frank DeCaro Show on Sirius Satellite Radio. Frank and co-host Doria Biddle chatted about what’s in store for “Casting Pearls,” a 7-minute short about a transsexual actresss in Hollywood. Other topics included Transamerica, the first all-trans production of the Vagina Monologues, and a short being filmed this week featuring Andrea and Calpernia.

“Pearls" is a sharp, funny comedic short told from the pov of a transgendered actress doing her best to remain human while trying to make a living in Hollywood. Contains the most hilarious use of a plastic sausage biscuit ever captured in a motion picture.
