Andrea and Calpernia appear on-air during public radio station KPFK‘s annual membership pledge drive with IMRU Executive Producer Rita Gonzales and celebrity co-host George Takei, well known as Star Trek‘s beloved “Mr. Sulu” and an advocate for the GLBT community. They discussed “Soldier’s Girl", “Beautiful Daughters" and their work with Felicity Huffman in “Transamerica”. Deep Stealth also provided autographed DVDs of “Soldier’s Girl” and encouraged listeners to call in their support for the long-running station, which has supported independent expression for almost 50 years in California.
