The 2007 Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival will be screening “Casting Pearls” as part of their ‘Gender Blender’ shorts program.

MiX NYC Queer Experimental Film Festival celebrates its 20th year in 2007, and their lineup will include “Casting Pearls.” The 7-minute short stars Calpernia Addams and is directed by Andrea James. Screening dates and times to be announced soon. MiX NYC takes place November 14-19, 2007 @ Sun Factory, 394 Broadway New York, NY 10013

The Woodstock Film Festival in upstate New York has announced their 2007 schedule. “Casting Pearls,” a short film starring Calpernia Addams and directed by Andrea James, will play on a double billing with Cynthia Wade’s award-winning documentary Freeheld, about Lieutenant Laurel Hester, a dying New Jersey police officer who fights to transfer her pension to her domestic partner, Stacie Andree.
“Casting Pearls” producer Ron Nyswaner is scheduled to attend the festival.
